It was late afternoon, we had set up camp on one of those peaceful beaches on the Mexican peninsula, Baja California. And like every day during our stay in this land of wonders, we were walking along the edge of the ocean when we saw some whales approaching the beach. They stayed there, nearby, for long hours, taking advantage of the shallow waters to rest on the bottom and play with each other. A magnificent ballet, a unique spectacle.
