Description
“Coco” one of our many neighbors along Lake Catemaco in Mexico.
This lake had been indicated to us by a couple of German overlanders met at Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.
The lake's tropical microclimate makes it an exceptional environment for flora and fauna. On one of the islands in the middle of the lake, there are even strangely monkeys from Thailand.
Here, we spent two peaceful days, enjoying the place and its superb sunsets, surrounded by a wild colony of Arras rouge that we all named “Coco” of course.
The best tips are not in the books… The advice of locals and travelers are our favorites!
